NORTH WALES WATER PARK REOPENS WITH BRAND NEW ATTRACTIONS

A £16 million expansion sees the popular Surf Snowdonia return, this time taking the name Adventure Parc Snowdonia.

Joining the pre-existing surfing lagoon--whose inland waves were a world-first at the time of their introduction--will be myriad new attractions for guests to enjoy.

Amongst the new offerings will be Adrenaline Indoors, an innovative climbing and artificial caving experience; additionally, the Explore Outdoors area will involve an off-road pump track, bouldering and an adventure playground for the younger members of your group.

Another welcome introduction will be the Adventure Concierge service. These are partners who enable guests to experience invigorating off-site activities, such as kayaking or gorge walking, providing expert guidance every step of the way

The adventure park will still feature a soft play for younger children, along with its current on-site accommodation options, consisting of a glamping and campervan village.

Andy Ainscough, managing director of the development, said: “Our plans will allow us to give our visitors more of what we know they really value: engaging, family-friendly adventures which take them away from their screens and get them moving more in the great outdoors”.

2020 is due to see even further expansion for the attraction, with a Hilton-operated hotel set to open by the side of the lagoon, complete with conference facilities. There will also be the addition of a Wellness Spa, with both indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, cementing Adventure Parc Snowdonia as a full-package holiday retreat.
