Wigwam® Holidays Shellstone is the newest glamping site in Wales

If you love blockbuster films such as the Harry Potter series and Russell Crowe’s Robin Hood, then you’ll be delighted to know you can glamp in a location that has inspired Hollywood!

Wigwam® Holidays Shellstone is the newest glamping site in Wales and is set to open on 1st July. The new business is set within the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with its stunning 186-mile coastal path.

The site is set between the beautiful villages of Tenby and Pembroke with easy access to public transport links, a village shop and two pubs. Surfers will also be able to get ‘in the pipe’ with Manobier Beach just a short distance away.

Site co-owner William Staniland said: “We are delighted to be offering super glamping accommodation in this glorious part of Wales.

“Our site includes five Running Water Deluxe Wigwam® Cabins that accommodate a family of four and an accessible deluxe cabin that is suitable for wheelchair users and accommodates up to five guests.

“Our glamping area includes a large pond that attracts all sorts of wildlife.”

The site, which will be run by the Staniland family, includes a garden machinery business and the family decided to diversify to attract families and couples to this wonderful part of Wales.

William continued: “Our location is also great at night once the sun sets we are in a Dark Sky Status region, so remember to bring the binoculars!”

The site allows firepits and additional extras can be ordered; the cabins include toilet, shower, small kitchen area, dining area, comfy mattresses, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery and more as standard. Outside each cabin there is a private area with picnic table.

Prices start at £80 per night at low season based on two people sharing one cabin.
