China now has the world's larges solar farm & intends to spend £285 billion through 2020 on renewable power sources like solar and wind farms.

The development of Longyangxia Dam Solar Park located in the western province of Qinghai, China, (which is now the world’s largest solar farm) will contribute to China's extraordinary effort to become a green superpower. China’s intensions of spending £285 billion ($360 billion) through 2020 on renewable power sources like solar and wind farms would create more than 13 million jobs in the renewable energy sector.

Visitors to the plant will see miles and miles of mesmerising deep blue solar panels and a billboard featuring the slogan:
“Promote green development! Develop clean energy!”

Longyangxia Dom generates 850 MW of clean energy and can power up to 200,000 households and occupies 27 square kilometres (10.42 square miles) which has over taken Kimuthi Solar Power Plant in Tamil Nadu, India as the largest solar farm.
