£6.6m development underway at Oxfordshire golf club

Feldon Valley Golf Club’s £6.6 million redevelopment includes the construction of four woodland lodges and a 13-bedroom hotel, as well as an extension and revamp of the clubhouse itself.

The new clubhouse will feature terraces overlooking the golf course, and both the hotel and lodges combined will provide enough accommodation for a total of 60 guests. The new overnight facilities will be connected by an elevated walkway with views to the Club’s grounds.

Stepnell are the ones behind the construction of the development, which hopes to be completed by the summer of 2018.

Operations Director at 360 Golf, Robert Clive, said: “It was vital to us that the construction was carried out professionally and sensitively as the golf business will remain open throughout the contract period. Stepnell were very impressive at the tender stage and two months into the build have been professional, efficient and good neighbours.”
