BANDAI NAMCO Amusement Europe Ltd is one of the biggest brands in the amusement industry worldwide. Namco was founded by Masaya Nakamura in 1955 who operated children`s rides on the roof of a department store in Yokohama, Japan. The Nakamura Amusement Machine Manufacturing Company, as it was then called, formed the acronym "NAMCO` and was merged with toy and video game giant Bandai in 2005 to create BANDAI NAMCO.
As well as PAC-MAN, which is believed to be the most popular and widely recognised video game of all time, NAMCO has created many legendary arcade titles over the years, such as Galaga, Tekken, Time Crisis and more recently Jurassic Park and Star Wars Battle Pod.
