Lionsgate Entertainment World to bring film faves to reality

The world’s first vertical theme park opens in China this summer, with a virtual reality (VR) motorcycle ride based on Twilight, a maximum-security prison breakout (Escape Plan), and a replica of The Capitol lobby from Hunger Games. Restaurants will even have a Hunger Games-themed menu with different dishes inspired by the film’s various districts!

More than 25 rides and VR experiences will feature at Lionsgate Entertainment World, with attractions based on films such as Divergent, Now You See Me, and Gods of Egypt.

Show you’re as good as Sylvester Stallone In Escape Plan: Prison Break, approximately 20 people will work together to break out of a maximum-security prison, facing a climbing challenge course and tunnels to escape. This is just one of the many amazing new attractions within the Lionsgate Entertainment World!

Jenefer Brown, Senior VP of Global Live and Location Based Entertainment at Lionsgate, “We created experiences that are immersive, that tell stories and are organic to the brands,” she said. “It’s a mix of all the cutting-edge attractions that you’ll find in entertainment right now.”

To see more of the park, visit the Lionsgate Entertainment World website which is a spectacle in itself.
