HUT26 was founded to help farmers diversify revenue streams with high yielding accommodation

The cabins have been used to provide a guesthouse for relatives, a kid’s playroom, private study and gym. Cabins are made of beautiful burnt larch exterior and a mix of oak panel walls and plasterboard internally. Available in a variety of sizes with the ability to link modules together, they also come with wood burning stoves, electric heating, kitchens and bedrooms with plenty of storage.

Designed & built to a high spec, each cabin is made from responsibly sourced materials & may either draw power entirely from green energy and drain to aerobic drainage tanks, or simply connect to main power supplies. We've created a modular cabin with bespoke
interiors and home-worthy heating and shower facilities to ensure guests stay warm and comfortable in all UK conditions.

Each cabin is built off-site & delivered to you; sitting just above the ground, they have minimal impact on your land & can be removed, recycled & re-purposed at any point in the future.

We've poured in 30 years of hospitality experience, resulting in a design led, efficient, offsite manufacturing process, along with de-risking ecology and planning issues for you. So, you're able to enjoy your cosy cabin sooner, hassle-free.

Our most recent engagement involves a 60m2 cabin for a client in Hampshire, wanting to upgrade existing farm accommodation – replacing a tired caravan with an existing Certification of Lawfulness for a Rambler cabin. Build time is three months from start to finish and delivery is via a flatbed lorry. The cabin is craned onto piles, so it can be moved, whenever required.

Generally, if the cabin is located within the curtilage of an existing dwelling there is no requirement for domestic use planning permission. However, if multiple cabins are required, they align with the Caravan Act, therefore benefiting from less restrictive statutory consents
and zero-rated VAT.

For those looking for a commercial opportunity on their land with multiple cabins, our team can assist landowners achieve Lodge Park planning approval. Landowners looking to install more than five cabins can also choose to adopt our hospitality framework, booking platform and increased revenue guarantee summer through winter.
