Eibe focus on modular systems which mean we can be flexible and adaptable within each product line. Diverse and forward thinking we create creative solutions that produce the perfect play space.

Eibe are proud to have won the opportunity to work with Norfolk County Council on a project for Kelling Heath Holiday Park. Kelling Heath is set amongst 300 acres of rare open heathland in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It also sits very close to the North Norfolk coastline at Weybourne. The site is a very popular family destination and offers a wide range of recreational & leisure activities. Eibe was awarded the tender at the start of the year after they presented their environmentally-friendly play park designs that utilize their sustainable hardwood Robinia, guaranteed to last well over a decade.

Eibe’s thoughts behind the design of the park considered the park's natural surroundings especially the diverse range of wildlife including the Red Squirrels. Eibe spent many hours examining the history and culture of the area. The Squirrel’s Drey design was chosen to reflect the fact that Kelling has successfully bred over 30 kittens since joining the national red squirrel breeding program in 1999. The Steam Train Adventure was a great addition to the fact the Park is an official halt on the North Norfolk Railway’s famous Poppy Line between Sheringham and Holt – something Mr Durrant says informed the choice of the official opening. The use of subtle theming was well designed to enhance the aesthetic feel and reflect the heritage of the site. Eibe has done an exceptional job in creating the themed adventure-style course for children of all ages and play values. Balancing. Walking, sliding, climbing the ‘Playo Mountains and Valley’s Train’ featured at this particular site provides all the play value a child requires for their development. The play boards selected encourage motor skills and stimulate creative thinking. The wobbly bridge with axis is tilted in two directions brining in the special balancing fun!

Andrew Munden, NNR general manager, officially opened the new equipment at Kelling Heath Holiday Park in July this year. Mark Durrant, park manager, said. "We’re really pleased with the new additions and hope they will inspire a natural love of the outdoors through imaginative play.”
