About Linda Green
Linda Green is Head of Health and Safety for Go Ape! the UK’s number one forest adventure company offering Tree Top Adventure, Tree Top Junior, Forest Segway, Zip Trekking and Nets Kingdom and numerous corporate games. Previously a local authority Lead H&S Regulatory Practitioner she has a variety of experience including enforcement notices, legal proceedings and prosecutions and has investigated 6 workplace fatalities.
As a company, Go Ape believe that people, and particularly younger people, get huge developmental benefit through experience of well-managed risk. It is through exposure to such risk that they developed their risk assessment, risk management and risk mitigation skills. The company philosophy is “creating adventure and encouraging everyone to live life adventurously”.
Go Ape recently achieved the Gold Award and overall trophy for the new RoSPA Leisure Award. Winning this award is a huge achievement and demonstrates our clear commitment, and proven performance, in managing risks to our staff, contractors, volunteers and visitors. Go Ape! is a high-risk activity, and winning this award is testament to our incredibly robust health and safety management system. Linda is a member of RoSPA, she sits on the Board of the European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) and is on the steering committee of The Leisure Expert Panel.
